Annie teaches from her heart, you can feel this in her authenticity of offering herself and her knowledge to share. She makes it very 'real', by being vulnerable, sharing personal experiences - mistakes and all.. and being able to then transmute that to a lesson to share and grow from. I loved that she was an embodiment of what she preaches, it's valuable and admirable to see a teacher who is speaks her truth and shares it like it is.
I enjoyed the entire curriculum, but connected deeply to the infusion of TCM ; i was very much interested in and impressed by the comparison of yogic maps vs TCM maps and thought that introducing the idea of maps was particularly useful. It also aligns very much to my ideas of letting people connect to what works for them and not being black and white or dogmatic about anything. This to me is the essence of being balanced, which is everything that Annie is about.
I absolutely would recommend this course : for yin teachers even who have done training, this is a different and non exclusive perspective that would benefit any yoga teacher. for all other yoga teachers, it would be a complementary practice .. and to anyone really, we just all need to take a moment and slow down - this is what yin practice allows us to do !
